For the past 8 or 9 years, on the weekend of the Outboard Drag Boat Association Championships, a large group of hot boat enthusiasts have met at TVA’s Shelmound launch near Nickajack Dam on the Tennessee River & have ridden together about 90 miles to Chattanooga & back. It is a great time, even if it has rained many of the times or is predicted to rain
